Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2009 now open

The 2009 Asian Women of Achievement awards will be the tenth anniversary of this wonderful celebration of Asian women`scontribution to British life. The awards started as a home-grown venture. Ten years on, they have establishend a life of their own. Receiving one of these awards is regarded as a truly meaningful credential that enables winners (and indeed shortlisted candidates) to push forward in their lives and careers. Awards Chairman, Pinky Lilani OBE., encourages you to help make the 2009 Asian Women of Achievement awards the most special yet – by nominating or letting her know about the talented Asian women who are making Britain an even more special place.

Wow what a great event we had launching The Writer’s Little Book… with BIG IDEAS.

It’s a great feeling now the book is out and people are buying it and talking about it to their friends.

We wanted two three results from the event:

1. People to know about the book.
2. People to know about The Writer’s Little Book Club.
3. And of course people to buy the book!

I’m publishing the book myself because I believe that with the digital printing revolution and the rise of social media networking for businesses,  that’s the way ahead for many authors.  That’s what we’re going to help promote in the Writers Little Book Club and offer training to show you how to do a great job with your book.

All our training and other things we offer via the Club will be as practical and down to earth as we can make them because I believe that small steps work, encouragement is vital and passion is where we begin.
