I receive a newsletter from Perry Marshall one of the Internet Marketing experts. I’ve never bought any of his products because at the moment I don’t do any Adsense campaigns being quite busy as a writer. But I like to keep up to date with him because obviously that’s his niche business. So what’s his current advice?
Boring really… it’s the same as for the last few years. Which is target, target, target.
With the sophistication of the marketing on the internet and the information overload we all suffer from, then getting attention is the key.
In a recent email Marshall cites the case of a therapist who saw his ad campaign cost per enquiry plummet from $90 to$12 with tight keyword targetting.
If you’re new to keyword research there’s a lot of information out there. I usually read Perry Marshall, also the information that comes out of Wordtracker.
Before you spend any money I guess the bottom line is do your research first.

Now from a marketing point of view it sounded the ideal set up; lots of niches to divide their market into.
But from the consumer’s point of view?

Like any writer it would be great to think that people reading the words I write, especially for websites would read every word. Would linger over every phrase that I’ve spent crafting and deciding if that word is better than this one.
Do I really think they do? Nah. Absolutely not! So how can I make sure that they’ll at least read some of it. Well I start off by….
