Some companies spend fortunes on keeping at the top of the search engines.
What do you do if you haven’t got a fortune but you still want your business to appear on the first page?
As a writer I know it will always take me longer and cost my client more for me to come up with 7 successful words than 7,000. All the time I’m trying to refine down and refine down the essence of the product/service I’m trying to write about. And often just the changing of one of those seven words can cause a sky rocketing in results. This week I came across an interesting approach this week offered by a marketer called Bryan Todd.
Which is to tell stories in the ad. Now you might say to me that’s not easy. And you’re right. Because getting the story right for the people searching for your product or service has to be laser focused. That means that you need to be very clued up to your market.
For some companies that’s easy but others might have to dig a bit deeper into what story is going on in their prospect’s mind that they can step into with the right words.
