Humphrey update

What a week with snow and ice and sun etc etc.  And Humphrey’s reactions to it have kept us amused all week.

My sister built a snowman after all the snow we had on Thursday… or to be more exact a snow Womble.  Humphrey was not amused.

It’s interesting to speculate exactly how cats perceive things.  He obviously didn’t like it because he wouldn’t go past it.  It took him half a dozen attempts before he bravely negotiated it and even then I had to stand in front of it.

He was dancing around me while I was sitting at the dining table and eventually pulled at my trousers to tell me he wanted to go out.  As if it was my fault he hadn’t managed it the five previous times.

So funny – like a small child who wants to use the toilet!

Today he’s a brave boy even though the Snowomble is still there, now frozen solid.

As for Portia, she’s eating so much her tummy looks pregnant after each meal.

Hope for a warmer week but the forecast looks set for cold nights.  Still it gives us bright shiny days.
